Piano Accordionist and Music Therapist Dawn began playing the piano accordion in Norwich in the 1970s (she was very young!) with her school friend Glenis - now Glenis Caley - and they both took accordion lessons with the late Cyril Burroughs. At first, Dawn played bass accordion in the Norwich Accordion Club Band and then 'got the bug' for playing piano accordion, taking her Grade exams and playing for festivals and community events. Dawn married David in 1984 and they moved to Cambridge in 1988, where she met with other musicians and enjoyed life as a community musician, playing for various social events, whilst working in a variety of roles and becoming 'Mum' to Katie and Emily.
Dawn currently plays accordion with Cambridge-based groups Redhouse
